Bad 3-2 Vibes

The Dallas Stars were sailing along in their best-of-7 series against the San Jose Sharks in this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs. They'd won the first three games and gotten all the breaks.

They lost Game 4 here in Dallas but everybody seemed okay with that...the other team was fighting for their lives and barely escaped with a 2-1 win. Besides, only two teams in 100 years or so have ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit. We're still up 3-1.

Then last night.

Dallas is up 2-0 (and even had two goals disallowed on video review...the first one I STILL can't seem to see why--and neither can any sports reporter) going into the third period.

San Jose goal with 13 minutes left.

San Jose goal with 9 minutes left.

On to overtime.

San Jose goal only 1 minute into the period. Game over.

And...

...all of a sudden I don't like the way this thing is shaping up.
