All Too Surreal

Auburn 16, Virginia Tech 13.
The final game wasn't that close.
The final game wasn't that pretty.
The final game wasn't that exciting, really.
The final game won't change the voters' minds.

But my beloved Auburn Tigers ran the table.
13 wins. 0 losses.
They have a legitimate claim to the national championship.
I never thought I'd live to see it.
And it's wonderful.

There's something nice about being a fan of a team over the long-haul, living with the ups and the downs and in-betweens, and then having them succeed.

I can't imagine much that would spoil my mood today.
